This year Optimising Care will have viewing hubs in Sydney at the Sofitel Darling Harbour on Saturday 14 August, in Brisbane at the W Hotel on Saturday 28 August and in Melbourne on Saturday 31 July, pending COVID restrictions lifting. If you attend a hub, your registration automatically includes virtual attendance of the other days of the series.

As the population ages and the life expectancy of people living with HIV (PLWHIV) continues to rise, a growing proportion of Australians living with HIV are now aged over 50. It is therefore essential that healthcare providers remain confident in managing common conditions these individuals may experience.

The Optimising Care series is a multi-day virtual series with face to face viewing hubs, to update the HIV healthcare workforce on current diagnostic and management principles of common medical conditions. It aims to maximise the health outcomes and quality of life of all Australians living with HIV.
